Tyrol’s favourite yogurt brand scored top marks in the latest natural yogurt test held by the consumer association VKI for its “Konsument” magazine.
Fifty natural yogurts were put under the microscope: Many products generally scored well on microbiological criteria, and one Tirol Milch yogurt was among the top-performing products chosen by the professional tasters. Tirol Milch Alpine Farm Natural Yogurt 3.6% in a 250g container was given a rating of “very good” in the test.
The VKI had also acknowledged the high quality of Tirol Milch products in June this year: Tirol Milch Alpine Farm butter, made from the cream of the finest Tyrolean alpine farm milk, was awarded a rating of “very good” in the main butter test, making it one of Austria’s best dairy products.
